One thing I've learned in my travels through Life and Business is that perfect sales pitches sometimes just don't work! Why is that?
In my experience, it's most often because the person to whom we're pitching the idea just isn't a good fit for the idea. It's not that the idea is bad or that the pitch wasn't good. It's that the other person just has no interest in going to the destination where we'd like to take them.
If you ever find yourself in a situation like that, my best advice to you is to simply imagine yourself as a great Explorer. Ask yourself these two questions:
