I get great inspiration from Winston Churchill’s words when he said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Whenever we experience disappointment or unfulfilled expectations, we can either trigger the Ruler archetype or the Rebel archetype. The Ruler and the Rebel are two sides of the same coin.
- Option 1: We could channel our inner Rebel, and wallow in anger, disappointment, and frustration; or,
- Option 2: We could channel our inner Ruler and find the courage to find another solution.
The interesting thing is that the choice is always ours.
So, here’s my ridiculous question of the day:
What can we do right now to be more courageous in how we approach the challenge that’s causing frustration?
