Here are three steps I’ve found useful whenever I get restless or want to create a new beginning in life or business:
Step #1: Leave behind the old version of your life or business.
For me, I’ve had to make peace with my past, and completely let it go. This includes people, relationships, and opportunities I’ve lost, along with expectations that were unfulfilled. I’ve found that it’s helpful to mourn my losses, but not to focus on them.
Step #2: Define your new or unique skills and resources.
What are the specific lessons you’ve learned, or magic powers you’ve acquired on your journey through life and business? Is there a way to use those skills to create unique value for others in a way that’s financially viable?
Step #3: Use your experiences to create a fresh start and new beginning.
You can use the archetypes to create a compelling personal brand with your personal story and your unique skill sets. In my book, The StorySeller Adventures, I call this process “creating your unique authentic winning story.” The great thing is you don’t have to do this alone!
I’m hosting The StorySeller Virtual Summit on April 19-20 to help you do just that. The theme of the event is How to Grow an Epic Business and Find More Meaning in Your Work.
You’d benefit if:
- You sometimes struggle to overcome objections or get buy-in for your ideas,
- You want a more consistent way of tapping into pre-existing human desires or habits to get better results in less time,
- You want to grow an epic business and make a meaningful difference despite current obstacles.
